be a submarine pilot

Studying the deep ocean presents scientists with special challenges because reaching depths requires the aid of highly specialized and expensive equipment. Remote sensing uses mechanical devices to collect data human hands cannot reach. Humans have created a wide range of tools to accomplish this task. Scientists can work and even live deep in the ocean by making use of various vehicles, tools, and specially constructed habitats. Some of those tools include submarines, sonar, radios, thermometers, and even nets dragged through the water. Scientists are constantly making new discoveries about the ocean and improving the tools with which they probe it. There are lots of cool creatures to explore in the deep.
